'Tis The Season!

So, I am back blogging almost two months later. I know I don't have many readers, but slowly I'll get the word out I'm sure. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We don't have much family here in Idaho, but the family we do have are wonderful. So we had a fun time taking family pics at Catherine Albertson's Park. I am pretty pleased with them considering that it was daylight savings day, so we weren't thinking that it would get dark a whole hour earlier. Cody had a massive cold, and Lincoln had just woken up from a nap and was wanting dinner. Cody and I are plugging along, we are feelin' the economy pinch. Cody recently had sinus surgery and is feeling much better. My Blackhawk Dance Academy is going well too. I am putting on my first performance on December 12th, ahh! Thanks to my sweet big brother- he helped me purchase some mirrors, and my sweet hubby hung them all up in the garage. Wow! it really helps when I'm teaching. I feel very blessed, because it seems people all around me are serving me. I hope we all remember to serve a little more, especially this Christmas season.

I LOVE FALL

CODY: Is still working for Impact Radio Group. He still loves it! He loves coming home and wrestling with the boys. He has helped Carson become quite the baseball player. Cody is still working on his music and is looking forward to some professional recording. Here is another plug for his Youtube channel (codyallday).

SARAH: I have taken control and started teaching dance lessons from home. I've been in business for myself since August 11th and already have 20 students enrolled in my BLACKHAWK DANCE ACADEMY. Yea, and I get paid!

CARSON: Is so excited for Halloween this year. He still wears his mask from last Halloween, it was just a few months ago I told him he needed to stop wearing the costume because it had too many holes. If I would let him, he'd be Spiderman again this year. I've given him so many options, that everyday now it changes. So far he has said he wants to be; the Hulk, Iron Man, a Ghost, Dash, Ningant Turtle (that's how he says it), Sonic, and tonight he said he wanted to be Santa Clause. He loves going on walks to the park with all of the other mommy's, unfortunately since it's gotten cold, mom has wussed out and is not quit so diligent.

LINCOLN: is 18 months and just started going to nursery. Oh we were so excited! Cody finally got to sit through all of Sunday School. It's crazy how quickly he learns new words!--- uh-oh, shoe, ABC's, cheese, ball, show (too much PBS), daddy (with elation), NO! (just like mom does), thank you, cereal, juice, i love you (kind of), all of his animal sounds, and I'm sure more that I either can't recall, or don't understand. He is a daddy's boy. He is so tough. When Dad and big brother start wrestling he joins right in with no fear. Mom now has the work of teaching him when wrestling is okay and not okay. Sorry Zander and Ryan he really does like playing with you.

THIS IS US-

CODY: is working for Impact Radio Group which owns five stations throughout Idaho. Cody sells advertising space to businesses. In the almost 6 years we've been married he's had many jobs, but nothing has fit him as well as this does. He is having a blast! He has a Youtube channel (codyallday) in which he has put a lot of his music on. Take a look!

SARAH: After running Dance Pros for a year,My partner and I decided to sell it. Too much work and not enough reward. Why does there have to be politics in everything. I hope to star teaching dance lessons from home.

CARSON: is 3 1/2. We are 99.9% potty-trained now. I say "we" because I have become quite an expert on training tactics, so much that I am contemplating writing a book. Carson still loves Spider-man. We let him watch old episodes on You-tube. He can sing the theme song from memory. He recently got a new sunbeam teacher. His teacher happens to be bald- I asked Carson how he liked his new teacher and asked what his name was. He responded by saying that he didn't like having 'The Thing' as his primary teacher. The Thing appears on his Spiderman shows every now and then. After a good laugh, I decided I should learn what his name was so we could refer to his as Brother ____ instead of The Thing. He absolutely loves Brother Roberts now that he understands he just a regular guy... or is he? He loves stroller group and park time with friends, although since it's gotten cold mom has wussed out and it not quit so diligent.

LINCOLN: is 15 months and just started taking his first steps. As he goes around he says "walk-walk". Oh we were so excited! He is so good natured. The only thing that makes him upset is when he has to share his dad with Carson and I. He is a daddy's boy. I don't mind because now Cody is faster at putting him down at night. He loves to hear dad hum.
